For 27 years, El Péndulo group has been building and operating bookstores and coffee shops, which have become important cultural hubs and community centers for neighborhoods around Mexico City.

In their latest project, their mission was to inject life into an existing theater and humanities school complex.

Built on a former plaza and around an enormous palm tree, on multiple levels, inside a singular hangar, diverse activities complement each other providing a unique experience.

This project has been longlisted in the large retail interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
