The “Bicilibrerías”, loosely translated as libraries on bikes, was a government sponsored project to promote reading by having these adapted vehicles riding through different neighborhoods, announcing through loudspeakers, a free exchange of books. For two years el Pendulo together with local authorities financed the project with great success and innovation. Our studio helped design and bring about these original units.
