Collaborating with the Legorreta's firm, from conceptual diagrams all the way through construction, this five house weekend retreat in a sloping fan shaped wooded site, takes masterful advantage of local materials and amazing views. Our biggest contribution was in developing the project for the common areas: pool, club house, game room, and in designing the paths through the gardens. We also chose and furnished these areas and did the interiors for one of the houses. Although volumetrically imposing, houses and common areas achieve an incredible level of integration with the landscape.
